Overview

Duplex chipboard is a thick, rigid board made by compressing layers of recycled wood pulp into a dense, duplex-finished sheet. Its eco-friendly composition and high density offer the firmness needed to maintain box shape, making it a preferred base for luxury packaging. Affordable, sustainable, and smooth when wrapped in specialty paper, it’s ideal for cosmetics, electronics, apparel, and gift boxes.

How Duplex Chipboard Differs from Other Boards:

• White/printed on one side, grey on the other (duplex)
• Suitable for direct printing on the white side; grey side is for structure
• Has a layered structure unlike grey chipboard
• Used for both strength and printability
• More visually appealing for printed packaging than plain grey chipboard
