We outline the steps for artwork approval policy, production timelines, and permissible changes, providing clear steps to ensure your packaging is produced correctly.

Custom Manufacturing Policy

We manufacture all orders according to approved specifications, and customers are responsible for confirming every design and order detail before production.

Digital Proof Approval Process

Half Price Packaging provides a digital proof for every order before production.

The digital proof may include:

  • Final artwork layout
  • Dieline structure
  • Size and dimensions
  • Cut and fold lines
  • Bleed and safety areas
  • Printing placement
  • Finishing details

Production begins only after the customer approves the digital proof.

Customer Responsibility Before Approval

Customers are required to review all proof details carefully before approval, including:

  • Spelling and grammar
  • Logo placement
  • Colors and branding
  • Barcode placement (if applicable)
  • Box dimensions and specifications
  • Dielines, cut lines, and fold marks
  • Material selection
  • Finishing options (foil, embossing, UV, lamination, etc.)

Half Price Packaging is not responsible for errors that were approved in the final proof.

Production Start Timeline After Approval

Our production policy ensures that manufacturing begins promptly once the final digital proof is approved.

Standard timeline:

  • Production starts within 5 hours of approval
  • Orders are quickly scheduled for manufacturing

Because of this fast production workflow, changes requested after approval may not be possible.

Changes After Artwork Approval

Once artwork is approved and production begins:

  • Changes are not allowed
  • Cancellations are not allowed
  • Modifications may require a complete reprint at the customer's expense

If a customer requests changes after approval, Half Price Packaging may provide a revised quote depending on the production stage and the nature of the request.

Physical Samples

For certain large or premium orders, Half Price Packaging may offer physical sample production upon request.

Physical samples are available only when:

  • The customer has adequate project timeline
  • The order qualifies for sampling
  • Sampling cost and shipping are approved

Typical physical sample delivery timeline:

  • Up to 10 working days depending on destination and complexity

Physical samples are intended to help customers confirm materials, structure, and printing output before mass production.

Order Specifications & Manufacturing Accuracy

Half Price Packaging manufactures orders based on:

  • Approved proof
  • Approved materials
  • Approved dimensions
  • Approved finishing selections
  • Approved quantity

All production is aligned with customer-confirmed specifications.

Quality Assurance & Reprint Policy

Our quality control process ensures that every package meets high standards for accuracy and consistency.

Under our packaging proof and reprint policy, customers may request a free reprint if our production errors affect the packaging.

Examples of eligible cases include:

  • Printing defects
  • Incorrect material usage
  • Incorrect size due to production error
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Short quantity confirmed by our QC team
  • Shipping-related damage supported with evidence

All reprint claims must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery.

Reproduction for Short Quantity

In rare cases, if short quantity is confirmed, Half Price Packaging will:

  • Prepare a QC report
  • Keep the customer informed throughout the process
  • Reproduce the missing quantity at no cost (if confirmed as our responsibility)

Reproduction timelines depend on production scheduling and shipping selection.

Color Variation Disclaimer

Due to differences in screen display settings, lighting, printing materials, and manufacturing processes, minor color variations may occur between digital proofs and final printed packaging.

We do our best to match your brand colors accurately, especially when you provide:

  • Pantone codes
  • CMYK print specifications
  • High-resolution artwork files

If exact color matching is critical, we recommend ordering a physical sample before full production.

Artwork File Requirements

To ensure best printing results, customers are encouraged to provide:

  • AI / PSD / PDF vector files
  • High-resolution artwork (300 DPI)
  • Outlined fonts or font files
  • Correct dielines and print-ready formatting

If artwork is not print-ready, our team may assist in preparing final files based on the customer's approval.

Delivery Timeline Reminder

Total delivery time includes:

  • Production time
  • Selected shipping time

Production timelines vary depending on material type:

  • Cardstock: 3 to 4 working days
  • Rigid boxes: 7 to 10 working days

Shipping timelines depend on the selected shipping option.
